A new hybrid in the genus Anthyllis (Loteae-Leguminosae) from eastern Iberian Peninsula

We describe a new nothotaxon for the genus Anthyllis (Loteae-Leguminosae), A. × currasii P.P. Ferrer, Roselló & Guara, as result of natural interbreeding between A. cytisoides (Lag.) Pau and A. lagascana Benedí. It has been located at Monte de La Cañada, in Paterna (Valencia, Spain). This new hybrid is compared morphologically with its parents and the rest of nothotaxa described hitherto for the genus in the Iberian Peninsula, analysing the main diagnostic characters. Se comentan algunos aspectos relacionados con los tipos nomenclaturales recientemente designados para Pistacia terebinthus L. y Pistacia vera L. (Anacardiaceae), al tiempo que se lectotipifica el nombre Pistacia trifolia L., en la actualidad considerado sinónimo de Pistacia vera L. El lectótipo de este nombre linneano ha sido seleccionado a partir del estudio de material original del autor, así como de la información bibliográfica recogida en el protólogo. Se designa como lectótipo el ejemplar del pliego BM 000647473.

Se aportan datos sobre algunos táxones del grupo de Centaurea linifolia presentes en las sierras de la Comunidad Valenciana y áreas limítrofes. Como resultado se propone reconocer en C. antennata tres subespecies, con síndromes de caracteres propios, que ocupan áreas geográficas bien delimitadas y presentan un comportamiento ecológico diferenciado. Según esto, se propone la nueva combinación C. antennata subsp. caballeroi para las poblaciones del sur de Tarragona y norte de Castellón, seleccionándose además un lectótipo. A thorough research on the scientific activity of Guglielmo Gasparrini, Giovanni Gussone and Augustin Pyramus De Candolle allowed the authors to adress a research in several European herbaria looking for the type of the name Senecio pygmaeus DC. The original specimen sent by Gussone and mentioned in the protologue by Candolle is still kept at G-DC and is designated as the lectotype, whilst three other herbarium sheets, preserved at NAP-GUSS, PAL and PAV herbaria respectively, in all probability belong to the same gathering, and are considered as isolectotypes.
